Dr. Staci Goussev is a board certified internal medicine veterinarian practicing trauma-informed and grief-informed medicine in the Pacific Northwest. She was educated and trained at UC Berkeley, Angell Animal Medical Center, and Cornell University, and achieved veterinary board certification in 2013. Dr. Goussev is recognized as an expert in her field, and has lectured at numerous veterinary conferences and veterinary medical association meetings. In addition to authoring many scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles, Dr. Goussev has also been interviewed as a veterinary expert by television media and veterinary specialty magazines regarding pet health matters. Dr. Goussev adopts homeless senior dogs, and this has lead to a special interest in providing quality end of life and hospice care for pets. When not working with animals, Dr. Goussev enjoys playing tennis (badly), playing pinball (decently), baking (really well), and watching old films. She is also an aquaerobics instructor.
